FTP Accounts in Shared Hosting
Any of the shared hosting packages that we offer will allow you to set up an unlimited number of FTP accounts, so you will be able to administer the content of your Internet sites independently or to give other people access to any website in your website hosting account. In case you have a web design application installed on your computer, you will be able to manage numerous Internet sites simultaneously and to keep them updated with no effort. If you give the login details to another person to carry out a certain task, you will be able to update the password for that FTP account or to remove it entirely with only a few mouse clicks and avoid any risk of unauthorized access to your web content from then on. For convenience’s sake, all FTP accounts that you create will be shown in alphabetical order in the corresponding section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our Linux semi-dedicated plans are really powerful, which makes them ideal for hosting lots of websites. Speaking of which, we have decided not to put a limitation on the number of FTP accounts that you can set up, so you can have a separate account for each site that you host on our cloud platform. All FTP accounts will be shown alphabetically in the respective section of the Hepsia Control Panel, which is offered with each semi-dedicated server account. For any of them, you’ll be able to check the access path and to change it, if needed. Also, you can set up an account in your favorite FTP client by downloading an auto-configuration file and running it on your home PC, which will save you time. In case you have never used a web hosting account before, you can check our comprehensive tutorial videos, which are available in the exact same Control Panel section.
FTP Accounts in VPS Servers
None of the Linux VPS servers that we offer includes a limit on the maximum number of FTP accounts that you can manage at any given time, so you can create an account for each website hosted on your virtual server, no matter if it’s under a domain or subdomain. Also, it doesn’t matter which Control Panel you’ll select when you sign up – Hepsia, DirectAdmin or cPanel, since an FTP server will be set up on your virtual machine during the configuration of any of them. If you want several people to connect to the very same directory with their own personal sign-in details, for example, it’ll take a few clicks of the mouse to create a separate FTP account for each of them. Removing an existing account or changing the folder that it can connect to is just as simple and you will not have to deal with any predicament, even if you don’t have any prior experience in such matters.
