Spam Filters in Shared Hosting
Our shared hosting servers employ one of the best anti-spam filters available on the market. It’s called SpamAssassin and is included with each cloud web hosting package, so if you host your domains with our company, you can opt for one of the five levels of protection that the filter offers for any mailbox that you have here. You can accomplish this with just two clicks of the mouse from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that’s used to manage all shared accounts. SpamAssassin ‘scans’ the header and the content of every message, calculates a spam score and then continues on the basis of the level that you have chosen. Every email account can have a different setting and you can choose whether the emails that the filter reports as spam should be deleted or redirected to some other email address where you can review them later, so as to avoid deleting a genuine email message. Switching to another level or deactivating the anti-spam protection is also rather easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you order a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domain names hosted under your account, you’ll be able to enable the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer and keep all unwanted email messages away from your mailbox. This service is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it can be enabled or disabled for any mailbox whenever you like. You can also alter the protection level with several clicks if junk email messages still reach your inbox or the anti-spam filter starts deleting authentic emails. Since you can select whether the spam should be erased right away or delivered to a separate email address, you can create spam@domain.com, for instance, and view all filtered messages there, so as to make certain that you will not omit an email message that you need. The email messages that the spam filter permits to go through will still appear in your inbox.
